As September changes our outlook from summer to autumn, we look forward to harvest season, leaves turning color, football games and the flavors and scents of hot apple cider and pumpkin spice everything.

Giving Back

Employees Volunteer at Calkins Nature Arena

Midland Power employees recently spent a day volunteering at the Calkins Nature Area in Hardin County, making improvements to the center's Native American and natural history museum and clearing out invasive honeysuckle along the property's prairie-forest interface. Staff also had a chance to meet the center's resident skunk, Flora. 🦨

Get to Know Doug Robey, Midland Power Director

When Doug Robey started working at the Martin Marietta Ames Mine in 1988, he dreamed of one day becoming plant manager. Some 35 years later, Doug is not only managing the mine, he has helped make it one of company’s safest and most productive.
